Quick update to my QR family still rooting for my father-in-law:  if you noticed me disappear and sweet Ginger reappear here on the blog, it’s because my FIL has worsened and the decision was made to put him in hospice care.  Ginger’s blogged here before (if you’re a newbie and don’t recognize the name) and stepped in without even being asked when she saw I was being overwhelmed.  Friends like that don’t come along every day — big hugs to Ginger!

If you’re so inclined, I’d ask that you please keep those prayers coming for my FIL and also, in particular, his youngest daughter who at the tender young age of 11 is trying hard to be strong but is really hanging by a thread emotionally.  I’ve set up a Facebook group for those interested in updates on his condition and willing to continue to pray for him — it’s here if anyone is interested.

Huge thanks again to Ginger and also to Dmitry for, among other things, NOT FIRING ME ;) — I haven’t had my mind on QR stuff at all in weeks — but Dmitry calls me almost every day just to ask how I’m doing.  This is yet another reason why I call QR my “second family.”  Thank you to everyone for caring…and I now return you to your regularly scheduled deal discussions.  :)

Becky, I joined the FB page of people praying for your FIL and your family. Ginger, thanks for helping us find the best deals! And thanks to Dmitry, too, for being such a generous flexible webmaster.
