Christmas Eve Where Becky Lives

by Becky on December 24, 2009

Although the headlines on Weather.com are about the "Holiday Blizzard," we're gearing up for a typical Christmas Eve in south Louisiana:

We'll only get up to 51 degrees tomorrow, so everybody will be shivering under their heavy winter coats when they go outside to ride the bikes and skates and scooters that Santa will bring tonight.  ;)

Whereever YOU are in the country, I hope that you have a great Christmas — if that's a holiday you celebrate — and that you'll forgive me for taking the day off tomorrow to visit with family.  I'll be back on Saturday with all the scoop you need to know to take advantage of after-Christmas sales and how to best spend those gift certificates you may find in your stocking!

See you then!

Becky, I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas! Fifty what degrees?! Sounds like shorts and t-shirts weather! Here in Colorado, we’re in the single digits, although it was sunny and in the 20’s earlier… a lovely white Christmas! Anyway, thank you so much for all you do – and have done over the many years! CompareRewards and the QR shopping blog are amazing, thanks to you.

Thank you SO much for your kind words, Liz! I really appreciate it — you have no idea!
We did have a GREAT Christmas, with all of the family together, eating too much and opening too many presents. ;) My daughter’s hair got caught in the wheels of her cousin’s Zhu Zhu hamster, which was hilarious (the cousin decided to name her pet Harry).
Did you have a nice Christmas, too? Sounds like you had a COLD one!
