This is a tip from my grad school days, when we were living on ramen noodles and peanut butter (not together — ewww!): give a framed photo as a gift! Order your print online for in-store pickup (which usually takes an hour or less, depending on where you have it printed), and while you wait, pop into your local Dollar Tree or other discount store to pick up a cheap frame.
