Also born today: George Hamilton (he's 70!), Sir Mix-a-Lot, and Casey Affleck. It was on this date in 1981 that IBM released its first Personal Computer (PC), the 5150. We wouldn't be online here today without it!
Here's a bit of trivia for you: the one and only time I've done karaoke in public, my SIL and I rapped "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-a-Lot. Hey, it was on a Carnival cruise and there had been some pina coladas involved.
