E.T. is a classic, of course, introducing us to Drew Barrymore, Reese's Pieces, and the famous catch-phrase, "E.T. phone home!"  Neil Diamond had a song about E.T. and there were E.T. robotic toys, E.T. cartoons, he was everywhere!  I didn't realize that so many people were really terrified by sweet little E.T., though — here's a cute commentary by a college kid who decided to face his childhood E.T. fear.  Hope it brings you a smile on your special day, Miss Barbara — hope your birthday is out of this world!
