With the economy being tighter this year (or at least, it’s being perceived that way!), I think we’re going to be seeing some great deals on Valentine’s flowers. Here’s a run-down of the coupon codes I’ve found so far, along with the QR cash back you will earn when you shop through our site (if you’re reading this on the blog, and you’re not already a member of QuickRewards.net, there’s no better time to sign up!):
1800 Flowers (6% cash back): Click here for a dozen long-stemmed red roses for $24.99 (expires 2/8; forward order confirmation email to support for cash back credit). Delivery is an additional $11.99 (except $26.98 on 2/7, $13.99 on 2/13, or $14.00 on 2/14); vase, if desired, is an additional $10. Pay by PayPal and get 15% off with promo code PAYPAL5CB (expiring 2/14) or take 10% off any other payment method with code QUICKREW10. Same day delivery of other bouquets is around $13.99, except $15.99 on the 14th.
de La Flowers (10% cash back): 15% off with code 15savings (expires 2/14). Standard delivery is $12.99; $5 extra for morning delivery, $11.99 extra for Saturdays including Valentine’s Day, or $2.99 extra for 2/13 delivery. A dozen red roses without a vase is $29.99 before the coupon code.
Florist.com (11% cash back on florist-delivered items, 5% on FedEx shipped): 10% off taken automatically when you click through QRs link; free vase with every order (no coupon required). A dozen mixed roses (shades from white to red) start at $54.00; a dozen red medium-stemmed roses with vase start at $63.00. Florist delivery is $14.99; FedEx shipped items are based on price and range from $9.99 to $18.99 (extra for 2nd day, overnight, or Saturday delivery).
FTD (5.5% cash back): Click here for 10% off your order (remember to forward your confirmation email to support to get your cash back credit). Add an extra $14.99 for shipping or florist delivery. A dozen roses (mixed red and white) start at $45.00 after the 10% off and before delivery.
Proflowers (7.1% cash back): Free vase with purchase, no code required. Sales include 12 assorted roses plus vase for $19.99, 2 dozen assorted roses plus vase for $29.99 (this deal expires 2/6), and 18 red roses with upgraded vase for $39.99. Standard delivery is $12.99 to $17.99, depending on order total, and they tack on extra $4.99 for Mondays, or an extra $9.99 for Saturdays, including Valentine’s Day. Delivery on 2/13 has to be flexible, allowing for delivery a day early, otherwise guaranteed 2/13 delivery is an extra $4.99. WHEW!
Teleflora (6.5% cash back): 15% off automatically applied when you click through QRs link before 2/14. Or, save the $13.99 delivery fee on $35+ orders delivered by 2/10 when you click here. All items are florist-delivered. A dozen roses (pink or mixed pink and red) start at about $45. A dozen red roses in a basic vase start at $59.46. They recommend ordering 5 days before a “major holiday” (I think V-day would qualify).
If you don’t have your heart set on sending red roses for Valentine’s Day, there are much cheaper options at all of these places. I, myself, am partial to carnations. Or, there are some beautiful red mixed flower bouquets with no or just a few roses included. And of course, there are other options for V-day gifts besides just flowers — look for posts in the near future including deals on Valentine’s Goodies and Valentine’s Bling!

I’m planning to purchase some Broderbund software — at least $39.99. I’d love a promo code for FREE shipping or maybe a discount. Anything out there?
TIA
